A dress mod is a modification or addition to the overall pattern before construction begins.
The Back – where it hits, it’s shape, closure etc.
Neckline – raising, lowering, changing it’s shape etc.
Sleeves – can be added at any length if the design allows. Same material or other.
Crop Top – any bodice can be modified into a crop top with separating zipper.
Pockets – add inseam pockets to any skirt.
Overlay – add a sheer chiffon overskirt, gathered or no.
Lengthen – add additional length to a short or long skirt (great for tall girls).
Shorten – for adjustments greater than 5″ (less than that there’s no charge).
Train – lengthen a floor-length gown to include a train up to 36″.
Waistband – any skirt can be modified into a stand-alone skirt with a straight waistband.
Sashes – satin waist sash in matching or contrast colour.
Bra Inserts – go braless in your dress, provides extra coverage and shaping.
Buttons – restricted to bridal (ivory, white etc.) satin covered buttons.
