Being involved with this amazing group of ladies the past few years has been a blast. It has been great experience for me to get out there and meet others in my local wedding industry. Our first annual Wedding Show was held last month and it getting to be a part of it was really exciting for me. Best of all it was for charity, and I hear we indeed raised $2700 for the BC Cancer Foundation!
Bridal Fashion Show, Oct. 13th 2015 – Parkside Hotel, Victoria
The Brides arrive and take their seats, while we are busy backstage dressing our lovely models (who by the way donated their time to help us pull this whole thing off!)
Mya’s creations (M&M Tailoring) worn by her daughter, who is just fierce might I say!
Tres Chic Bridal and Le Chateau offered some looks for the runway!
We couldn’t leave the guys out! Outlooks For Men did them up nice, and made the ladies swoon for sure.
I had two bridesmaid looks in the show as well as my 80’s re-worked gown that was seen at the mock Chinese wedding we held. The details for each here:
Trend A: Bridesmaid convertible wrap dress. Sky Blue color, Hi-Lo hem with tulle overlay. Wrapped in a plunging v-neck, knotted on the left shoulder and open back. ($225)
Trend B (pictured above): Bridesmaid convertible wrap dress. Iris pink color, knee length with chiffon overlay. Wrapped in a one-shoulder style. ($275)
Trend C: Show-stopper bride. Re-worked vintage 80’s gown with Illusion bateau neckline and open back with beaded applique. Basque waist with full gathered skirt and tulle overlay. White pearl buttons down the centre-back. ($995)
