Vintage Inspired Copper Bridal Gown

Another stunning gown complete! This dress was a pleasure and I am so proud of it. Inspired by the dress styles of the 1920’s, the most challenging part of the whole design was the bias cut layers. SO. MANY. LAYERS. Over thirty for sure, and they had to cover the entire dress. This added a lot more weight than I expected so I added a waist stay (inner waistband) of grosgrain ribbon to help support the top of the dress.

The bride looked breathtaking and I can’t wait to see the final ensemble with the amazing millinery piece by Lynda Marie.
