Off-the-Shoulder Gown in the Making

I’ve been busy with a few things- a brand new website for one, and this beautiful lace and taffeta off-the-shoulder bridal gown. This one is a special case where I am using/altering from a commercial pattern at the client’s request. It’s a time and money saver! It’s almost complete and I thought I’d give a quick sneak peek at the process through my instagram feed. I can’t believe how quickly 2015 is booking up fast! Just in the last two weeks I’ve booked May 15, July 15, August 15 and Oct 1st projects! Keep ’em coming, 2015 is gonna be my year!

Most awkward dress to cut out award goes too…

4 hours in and still had the underlining to do.

Count’em! That’s 37 satin covered buttons there.

Still have a fitting and some finishing touches to do on it. Can’t wait to show off the final product!
