Ordering a Wrap Dress – New Floor Length Style

This week I finished the second sample style of my convertible wrap dresses, the floor-length version with a chiffon overskirt. The ice-blue colour is really stunning, I’m calling it my “Elsa” dress as it reminds me of Frozen. But every dress is made to order in whichever colour you prefer (it is dependent, however, on what is available wholesale). See my last post for current colours available.

Style Comparison:

 Short

  • Knee or shorter in length
  • Full circle skirt
  • Waistband
  • Two front straps used to wrap and make endless bodice possibilities
  • Add a chiffon overskirt for a more formal look. Finished with an enclosed hem and french seams down the center back.
  • Optional tube top, for extra coverage – if you don’t want to go backless and want to wear a strapless bra.

 Long

  • Long, floor length skirt
  • Gathered waist

I recommend investing in a pair of adhesive bra cups like the ones from La Vie En Rose to wear underneath your wrap dress. They give good support (I like the push-up version myself) and allow you to wear your dress with a bare back depending on how you wrap it. Amazing invention these things, I wear them whenever I can honestly!
